Severe storms wracked the state of Missouri from the 25th through the 28th of July, 2022, causing flooding. President Biden issued a disaster declaration on August 8, 2022.

People in the following areas are eligible to receive federal disaster assistance:

  • St. Louis County
  • Independent City of St. Louis
