Legal Services Of Western Missouri

Legal Aid of Western Missouri provides free legal assistance to eligible low-income residents in 40 counties in the state. This assistance includes free legal aid for issues related to disaster relief and flood recovery. Examples of these types of issues are insurance claims, disaster relief applications, temporary housing, evictions, home repairs, emergency benefits, child custody and child support, and replacing ID cards and other important documents.

The organization operates out of five offices. They serve the following counties: Andrew, Atchison, Barton, Bates, Benton, Buchanan, Caldwell, Camden, Carroll, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Henry, Hickory, Holt, Jackson, Jasper, Johnson, Lafayette, Linn, Livingston, McDonald, Mercer, Morgan, Newton, Nodaway, Pettis, Platte, Putnam, Ray, Saline, St. Clair, Sullivan, Vernon, and Worth.
