A powerful stormfront crossed Arkansas between May 24 and 27, 2024; bringing powerful winds, tornadoes, and floods. On May 30, 2024, President Biden declared a major disaster.

People in the following counties are eligible to receive federal disaster assistance:

  • Baxter*
  • Benton
  • Boone
  • Fulton**
  • Greene**
  • Madison**
  • Marion
  • Randolph**

*Baxter County was added on June 5, 2024.
**Fulton, Greene, Madison, and Randolph counties were added on June 12, 2024
