Virginia Legal Aid Society

Virginia Legal Aid Society provides free civil legal assistance to eligible low-income residents in central and southern Virginia, including help for issues related to disaster relief and recovery. This may include help with insurance claims, disaster relief applications, temporary housing, evictions, home repairs, emergency benefits, child custody and child support, and replacing ID cards and other important documents. Counties served include Amelia, Amherst, Appomattox, Brunswick, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Cumberland, Greensville, Halifax, Henry, Isle of Wight, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nottoway, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Prince Edward, Southampton, Sussex, Danville, Emporia, Franklin, Lynchburg, Martinsville, and Suffolk.
