Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota

The Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota (LASNEM) provides free legal assistance to eligible low-income residents in 11 counties, including help for issues related to disaster relief and recovery. This may include help with insurance claims, disaster relief applications, temporary housing, evictions, home repairs, emergency benefits, child custody and child support, and replacing ID cards and other important documents.

Counties served include Aitkin, Carlton, Cass, Cook, Crow Wing, Itasca, Kanabec, Koochiching, Lake, Pine, and St. Louis. Find the office closest to you here.
