Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma
Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma provides short-term and long-term disaster relief services to residents regardless of their religion, race, creed, or socio-economic status. It serves eastern Oklahoma, with its main campus in Tulsa and helping centers in Bartlesville, Broken Arrow, McAlester, Muskogee, Poteau, and Sallisaw.
Immediately after a disaster, Catholic Charities may provide food, clothing, and emergency financial assistance. It also offers counseling for emotional difficulties. In the longer term, it may work with individuals to develop a recovery plan to address needs such as home repairs, housing relocation, replacing belongings, transportation, and medical expenses. A case manager would work with partner agencies to find financial assistance, donated materials, and volunteer labor to meet these needs.
