Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Oklahoma City
Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, provides short-term and long-term disaster relief services to residents regardless of their religion, race, creed, or socio-economic status. It serves central and western Oklahoma, with offices in Ardmore, Clinton, Enid, Guymon, Lawton, and Oklahoma City, as well as service locations in Midwest City and Norman.
Immediately after a disaster, Catholic Charities may provide funds for food, shelter, clothing, and other basic necessities. It also offers counseling. In the longer term, it may work with individuals to develop a recovery plan to address needs such as home repairs, housing relocation, replacing belongings, transportation, and medical expenses. A case manager would work with partner agencies to find financial assistance, donated materials, and volunteer labor to meet these needs.
