Salvation Army Heartland Division
The Salvation Army’s Heartland Division serves residents in eastern Iowa and central Illinois, where it gives out food and water to those affected by flooding and other natural disasters. The organization also provides emergency shelter, clothing, and medical service. It lends a hand with cleanup, and it can help survivors get in touch with their loved ones.
Motivated by Christian faith, The Salvation Army also sends specially trained individuals to offer emotional support and spiritual comfort to rescue workers and disaster survivors.
